The Good and the Bad about Cingular Prepaid Cell Phones
Pros: The Pay As You Go plan offers the benefits of adding money to your account and it being deducted as you use the phone, which means you won’t go over what you can afford and there is no credit check and no contract.
Their customer service is easy to reach through email or by phone. There is good coverage on any Cingular plan, as well as free roaming and nationwide long distance calls all at the same cost.
Cons: You are charged for incoming text messages, and if you don’t sign up to their special international plan then international calls can become very expensive. If your payment is late then your account will be deactivated by the 34th day.
