Remember these soldiers are human beings and they are away from family, spouses, and their homes. It's unfortunate that many of these people find the cost of communicating with home prohibitive, and donating an old handset is a great way to help our fellow human beings. I urge people of ALL political alignments to really think of the "human factor"" involved with this movement. This is a great idea whether you support the war or not. Remember these soldiers are human beings and they are away from family, spouses, and their homes.
