According to various consumer reports, cell phone service overall has improved in recent years. Verizon wireless is regarded highly in terms of customer service, overall satisfaction, and connectivity. T-Mobile was given similar ratings by current customers.
Other similar surveys have shown that many more people are giving prepaid cell phones a try. In the past, prepaid was often looked at as being for people with bad credit who could not sign up for a contract phone. But now people are going prepaid for various reasons.
Either they us their phones less frequently or they don’t want to sign a contract, or for their particular situation they save money with a pay as you go phone.
