Okay, so you’ve heard about prepaid cell phones and how they may help you save money over your current cell phone monthly contract plan with a big wireless service provider. But is prepaid right for you?
You may be thinking that you do not fit into the demographic of prepaid phone users, and you may be right, but chances are you’re wrong. Let me put it this way. Do you like to save money? Do you like to be able to pay only for the minutes you use? Do you like to have more control over your cell phone bill?
These are some of the things you may want to think about. I’m not going to tell you that prepaid is perfect for you, because it may not be. If you are a heavy cell phone user who texts a lot and you use 500 minutes plus a month, then you most likely want to go with a contract wireless provider. However, if you use far fewer minutes than that or are willing to change your cellular habits slightly to save some cash flow, then prepaid may be something worth looking into.
