CTIA is a time for new features and new prepaid cell phones to be shown to the world, and Virgin Mobile is no exception. They kicked things off with the announcements of Opera Mini (that we wrote about earlier), and now they’ve got a handset to introduce to users everywhere.
It’s the Kyocera G2GO M2000, the heir apparent to the Lingo. It looks a lot like a slider version of the Wild Card. It features Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD expansion, and an MP3 player. It should be available later this month, though the pricing is not known at this time. Expect around $150-200 or so.
It’s been a busy month for new prepaid phone releases, as carriers gear up for war as the economy continues to struggle and they try to gather as many customers as possible.
