MetroPCS is pretty proud of their recent quarter results, as evidenced by their quick announcement of their impressive numbers: 684,000 net customers isn’t anything to sneeze at. Yet, Boost managed to steal some of the joy from Metro with their own numbers recently.
Boost Unlimited then announced their results last quarter, and stole some of Metro’s thunder, no doubt. Their $50 unlimited plan helped Boost add 764,000 net subscribers to their total, beating the industry’s predictions by a country mile and cementing it as a solid competitor in the prepaid cell phones race.
Boost is having its issues with this growth, as we pointed out the other day with their text delivery issues, but hey, growth is a good thing with the economy being what it is. Boost has a winner with their $50 unlimited plan, it seems, and hopefully they can get their network issues squared away.
