Page Plus Unveils New $40 Unlimited Cell Phone Plan

Well, make that $39.95. A press release from the company somewhat humorously refers to new Page Plus Unlimited plan, as the cheapest of plan of its kind. Well, I guess it is 5 cents cheaper than the $40 MetroPCS Unlimited Pan.

All jokes aside, for the monthly fee, subscribers to the Page Plus Unlimited Talk n Text plan receive unlimited voice, unlimited text, and 20 megabytes of data usage for web browsing or sending email.

Page Plus operates on a nationwide network, so there are no long distance charges–a definite plus. The company also claims to have a great selection of handsets and largest and most reliable wireless network.

Put the Unlimited Talk n Text plan on your list of Unlimited prepaid plans to look into as you search for the right prepaid plan for you. The other ones you should check out are unlimited plans from Tracfone Straight Talk, Boost Mobile, and MetroPCS.

I’m not one for unlimited cell plans and my typical, admittedly very low, usage of my cell costs me somewhere between $10 to $20 per month. I have been using Tracfone for a few years now and am really happy with the service.
If I would want to go onto a higher plan I think I might go with Straight Talk rather than PagePlus, which I had never really heard of before. Is their service reliable? Is the network coverage REALLY nationwide or do they just cover the larger cities? What is their customer service like?

Straight Talk is on Verizon’s network, America’s most reliable.

The customer service is fine, according to most online reports.

J.D. Power, the consumer ratings service, in its 2009 Wireless Prepaid Customer Satisfaction Study, rated Net10#1 and TracFone#2 , respectively.

Since Straight Talk’s customer service is handled by the same folks, you can be confident that it’ll be just as good.

Straight Talk’s unlimited plan, in addition to unlimited nationwide anytime minutes and texts, includes 30MB of data (around 350 web pages), all for $45 for 30 days.

If you don’t talk and text that much, you can get 1,000 nationwide anytime minutes and 1,000 texts, plus 30MB of data for only $30, also over Verizon’s network!
