Straight Talk Wireless’ prepaid phone plans start at just $30 per month, plus the price of the phone, and cap out at $45 per month for the slightly more expensive Unlimited plan. One of the cool things about the unlimited plan is that there are a few Android phones that you can pair with it. This is a huge plus for me and for many prepaid customers around the country. The best one right now is the LG Optimus Black. Read more about this phone below.
Android Phones are Now Available
Tracfone has yet to release an Android phone, but Straight Talk (a company owned by Tracfone) has a few of these phones that are for sale at its website. The best phone perhaps is the LG Optimus Black, a very thin phone with a lot of cool features. It has a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash. Black also has a really nice touch screen–see it below. You can buy this phone at Straight Talk’s website.
Samsung Galaxy Proclaim (pictured below) is another available Android phone. This one runs on the Verizon network, which means it extends to many people who haven’t been able to have a prepaid unlimited plan Straight Talk Android yet. Learn more about this phone at StraightTalk.com

The $30 plan from Straight Talk Wireless is known as the “All You Need” plan and gives you the use of 1,000 minutes of talk time and 1,000 text messages. You also get 30 MB of data usage for web browsing, which is nice.
The $45 Unlimited plan will give you unlimited use of your phone for voice, text, and web browsing. Yeah, that’s right, unlimited web browsing. That’s a very attractive feature.
Both of these plans run on the Verizon prepay network, which is one of the most solid in the country. I was just talking to someone today who has a contract plan through Verizon Wireless and was extolling its virtues as he also told me how cool the new Samsung Omnia 2 cell phone is.
I agreed and told him I had heard good things about Straight Talk Wireless’s service on the Verizon network. Now, there is a very nice new Android phone–Samsung Galaxy Proclaim–that runs on the Verizon network actually. It’s the first Android phone to run on Verizon (via Straight Talk) and the unlimited plan. Read more about this phone below.
These two prepaid phone plans are good ones to include in your search for a well-priced prepaid plan that will give you the service and the assurance you need out of your cell phone provider.
