I was looking at the Straight Talk Wireless website today and I noticed an interesting promotion going on. Evidently, you can get a free month of service, which works out to a savings of $30 or $45 depending on which plan you use.
The way you claim your free month of phone use from Straight Talk Wireless is by using the service for 12 months and having your monthly fees auto-debited. At the end of that period, you will get a free month of service according to the website.

Now, this may seem like you have to wait a long time to get your free month of service–and it is–but this is really just another reason you might want to consider Straight Talk Wireless.
Here are the other reasons many people are switching over to Straight Talk.
For $30 per month you get 1,000 minutes of talk time, 1,000 text messages, free 411 calls, and 30 mb of data use (web browsing)
For $45, you get Unlimited use of your phone for texting, talking, 411 calls, and web browsing. Yes, that’s unlimited web browsing folks–a very cool feature.
Both plans run on Verizon’s network, which is one of the best if not the best in the country.
There is a good phone selection–and even a smartphone option (Samsung Finesse) if you like the high tech phones.
Straight Talk has two of the best plans in the wireless business, so if you’re considering a new plan, and want to make a decision before the end of the year, have a look at Straight Talk. If you sign up before December 31, it look like you will qualify for the free month of service.

Wow! I made the switch to StraightTalk a couple of months ago and I’m super happy with the phone/service/price. This free month sweetens the deal even more. Going to sign up for auto-debit now! Hooray for StraightTalk!!!!
I made the switch to straight talk a couple of months ago. And today I was trying to get a hold of one of the customer service people. Didn’t get through or put on hold. It said to go straight to the website and hung up. I was ticked about that. Plus I haven’t figured out how to do ring back tones or games. Which is stupid because if a phone has the option for games, you should be able to play them. Also I’ve been doing research on the ringback tones and no one seems to know how to do this. Other than those three things the phone is ok. I like the cheap rate of $45 a month for unlimited phone, text, and web. But straight talk needs improvements- a definate must!
I’VE BEEN WITH STRAIGHT TALK FOR A YEAR AND LOVE IT. U CAN’T BEAT $45 A MONTH UNLIMTED EVERYTHING. DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT EXPENSIVE PHONES BILLS ARE WEB USAGE CHARGES.
strait talk needs a $15.00 minute card
The best they have is a $30 card for 1,000 minutes and 1,000 text messages.
