Samsung Finesse is probably the best phone that operates on Straight Talk’s prepaid service and definitely the most advanced one. (Highlighted link above goes to the TracFone wikipedia entry where you can read a little about Straight Talk.)
It’s a smartphone that bears a passing resemblance (very passing) to the iPhone. It has a touch screen with haptic response, which means it vibrates when you touch buttons on the touch screen which is kind of cool and lets you know the phone is responding.
Many people are scared away from prepaid due to the lack of phone choice. That is now changing and will continue to change as more prepaid wireless companies allow the use of higher end phones as a way to compete and gain new customers.
Samsung Finesse for Straight Talk is a good start.

I never wanted to pay the monthly bill attached to the iPhone, and now I don’t because StraightTalk has come to the rescue. I am going out to buy one of these babies ASAP to replace my flip phone I’ve had for years.
