I guess you could add another big name onto the list in the title of this post: Wal-Mart. Since Straight Talk Wireless phones and plans are on sale at the big name retailer, you can see how these plans are a force to be reckoned with.
TracFone owns Straight Talk, which runs on the very strong Verizon network, and which are sold online at Straight Talk’s website. A lot of pay as you go companies don’t have the best wireless networks, which can cause problems for their user base. This is not a problem for this company since they have a partnership with Verizon Wireless.
There are two plans and several cell phones to choose from. Two of the more prominent phones are the Samsung R451C and the Samsung Finesse.

I am really glad that Tracfone came out with the Straight Talk plan. $45 a month for unlimited text and unlimited minutes is really a great deal. You can’t beat it! As an out of state student, I am able to keep my costs down while enjoying long conversations with friends and family back at home. I will continue using this plan throughout my college career and hopefully after I graduate!
