Net10 has some good cell phone options for all kinds of people looking for wireless service.  Not only are Net10 cell phones easy to use and good quality, they are inexpensive.

A Few Net10 Cell Phones (see all of them at Net10.com)

Some of the most popular Net10 phones are the following:

LG 600g

Motorola C139

Nokia 1600

Motorola W375

What You Get With These Net10 Cell Phones

First and foremost, you should know that Net10 cell phones are all prepaid phones, or what you might know as pay as you go.  For this reason, there are no contracts.

Prepaid phones also help you save money on your cell phone bills because you aren’t paying high fees to help Net10 pay for expensive campaigns designed to encourage people to sign up for service.  You avoid high overage fees since you control exactly how many minutes of talk time you purchase and use.

When you purchase a Net10 cell phone, you get 300 minutes free to use over a 60 day period.  This represents a $30 value since each minutes of Net10 talk time is 10 cents.  So if you purchase one of the Net10 prepaid phones that costs $30, you essentially are getting the phone for free.

Now that’s a good deal.

Why to Get a Net10 Cell Phone

To sum up, there are a couple of good reasons you may be interested in Net 10 cell phones.  One is, as I mentioned above, you will save money over most contract plans since Net10 service is cheaper and prepaid.

You have affordable cell phone options that will help you save money going into the service.

You have complete control over how many minutes of talk time you pay for.

As mentioned above, you also get 300 minutes of free Net10 talk time when you purchase a phone.  It may come as no surprise that one of the best ways to save money with any service is to get more for your money at the beginning of the transaction.

You have no commitments.  There are no contracts to sign.  When you need talk time or text message refills now or anytime in the future, all you have to do is buy them.  Then you can start using your Net10 phone.

Net10 also has one of the best slogans in the business: “No Bills.  No Contracts.  No Evil.”  Gotta love that.

What Kind of Cell Phone User is Right for Net10?

All kinds of cell phone users will find benefits from Net10′s service, but moderate talkers will probably save the most.  Let me rephrase this statement like this: if you are a moderate cell phone user, you should definitely consider Net10 cell phones.  There is money to be saved.

Since you buy your minutes in bundles of 300 for use over 60 days, if you use 150 minutes per month, you will only be paying $15 a month for cell phone service.  That’s for a moderate user.  If you use more talk time, you can see that you will still save money, but this kind of user has a lot of incentive to look at the Net10 cell phones available.

After so many years of contracts and the potential for overage fees, I made the choice to go prepaid. I did my research and found Net10 to be a dependable and affordable choice. Their phone selection is good, but a bit small, and some might find the activation prices a bit steep despite you getting 300 minutes initally. What everyone, including me, really loves is the selection of plans – I mean you can get one for as low as $15 a month. I went with a $60/600M plan and I text for .03 rather than the usual .10 with any other company. With a TMobile powered network and international calling for .15, Net10 was really the right choice for me.

This site says it all. The motto “no evil” and “cell phone happiness” have made an appearance at net10laughoff.com, where net10 users are encouraged to post their laughter in response to great savings and service. You really do get a lot for your money, not just prepaid minutes: good towers/coverage, customer support, and dependable phones (though there are fancier out there).
