Straight Talk’s New Phone: Samsung r355c

There is a brand new Straight Talk phone–in fact, it’s an Android (the 3rd one out on ST right now).  LG Optimus Black is a solid Android device with a good camera, a great screen, and access to the android marketplace.  This phone is a good prepaid Android phone that runs on the Unlimited Straight Talk plan.  Learn more at Straight Talk’s website

Straight Talk has a new prepaid phone that you might be interested in if you’re looking at Straight Talk prepaid phones. It’s a phone that was also recently added to the Net10 prepaid plans (which is a company also owned by TracFone like Straight Talk, which makes it not such a huge coincidence).

One odd thing, however, is that this phone, the Samsung r355c, is about $30 more when purchased from Straight Talk Wireless than when purchased from Net10.

The Samsung r355c is a “slab-style” phone, which basically means it is shaped like and resembles a BlackBerry style of phone.  It’s a flat phone that is substantial when held in the palm and consists of a large screen on the top half and a keypad on the bottom half.

Another good phone is the Samsung Finesse.

This phone is definitely an option if you are looking at Straight Talk’s prepaid plans.  It works with either one, the $30 1,000 minute and text plan, and the $45 unlimited talk, text, web plan.  Check ‘em out if you’re interested at Straight Talk’s website.
