Where to Buy Straight Talk’s Samsung Finesse R810C Phone

I noticed on a message board that several people have asked over the past few days where they can buy the Straight Talk Samsung Finesse r810c phone.  A few other people have asked me recently where they can buy Straight Talk’s prepaid plans online.

Part of the problem is that Straight Talk is a relatively new brand of pre-paid cell phone and people aren’t familiar with the website.  If you were looking for TracFone phones, wouldn’t you go to TracFone.com?  It’s an easy mistake to make though.

I told them the answer is simple.  All you have to do is buy them at Straight Talk’s official website.  That’s where you can buy the Samsung Finesse as well.  To look at all the phones the company offers on its plans–including the Finesse–find the “shop” button at the top left of the homepage.  From there, select “phones” and follow the directions.

In case you don’t know, Samsung Finesse is a smartphone with a brilliant touchscreen, full virtual qwerty, and full web browser.  It’s a very nice phone and is the most high end one Straight Talk has in its lineup.

A lot of people have shown a lot of interest in this particular cell phone.

Now that Straight Talk has been around for over a year, you can find some of the Samsung Finesse handsets for sale on eBay. You might be able to find a great deal on a phone.

Stop Overpaying for your Cell Phone – Go Prepaid

A consumer study revealed that many people are overpaying for their cell phones and their terrestrial phone lines as well.  One man who works for the United Consumers Action Network says in the above article that people are being “dramatically overcharged” for their phone usage, for a few reasons.

One reason is that cell phone bills and plans are hard to read, which probably comes as no surprise to you.  Many people simply do not know what minutes they have available, they can’t keep track of “peak” minutes, and all the other little charges that turn a regular cellular phone bill into a convoluted, confusing, and very frustrating piece of paper.

20% of the people who participated in this study, it was revealed, pay over 50 cents a minute for cell phone calls.  That is ridiculous.  They are overpaying because they may not know that they have options.  The article goes on to suggest that prepaid cell phones may offer quite a bit of savings for subscribers over the standard monthly contract.  I’m not surprised.  For many people, prepaid phones can offer a really good value over other options.

Prepaid Cell Phones are One Way to Keep Phone Costs Down

It’s almost like the secret is getting out, as many people who have been using prepaid cell phones for years and have reaped the monetary rewards watch as prepaid starts to become more common among more people.  I read a very good article that lists a few methods of keeping your phone bills down.

People should consider a plan from AT&T GoPhone, T-Mobile Prepaid, or TracFone, a few of the wireless providers who offer prepaid options.  Boost Mobile is another contender with its new unlimited plan that shook up the industry with its $50 plan.  Tracfone prepaid is viewed by many to be a value provider that can save a lot of money on a monthly basis.  There are a lot of options to choose from as well as several solid handsets to choose from.

The Double Minutes for Life option from Tracfone is particularly attractive to a lot of people because for every minute you purchase, you get one free.
