AT&T Supports Troops with Prepaid Phone Cards

CellphonesForSoldiersAT&T has given 350,000 prepaid phone cards to American troops overseas since the wireless phone service company has been running its Cell Phones for Soldiers charity created just for this purpose.

This is a great thing that helps out soldiers who may not be able to afford the expense of calling their loved ones back home as often as they would like.

Kudos to AT&T for this kind gesture to American troops.  You can help too.  Since Cell Phones for Soldiers pulls in its proceeds by recycling phones, you can donate an old cell phone for this cause.  It’s a great way to help someone out and get rid of an old phone you don’t need.  Plus since it’s not a good thing for old phones to end up in landfills, this is also an environmentally-friendly thing to do.

Visit www.att.com/holidayconnect to get a free prepaid shipping label and mail in your old cell phone. Or visit the Cell Phones for Soldiers website.

AT&T Donates Prepaid Phone Cards to Soldiers Overseas – You Can Help Too!

Big ups to AT&T for donating $150,000 worth of free prepaid phone cards to soldiers stationed overseas.  Each prepaid phone card is loaded with 20 minutes of free talk time for soldiers to use to stay in contact with friends and family back home.

AT&T Wireless is working with the USO to give out the 20,000 prepaid cards to soldiers in time for the independence holiday on July 4.

You can help too!  Donate your used cell phones and wireless accessories to your local AT&T store and some of the proceeds will go toward the Cell Phones for Soldiers program.  You can also visit att.com/holidayconnect to download a free shipping mail you can use to send in your phone or accessories for the program.
